July learning Journey Activity 1

Hi there,

everyone.

When it comes to animals we all love animals ans we probably all have pets.
But then there is the time when you cannot get your favorite animal as a pet, like it could be unreal and that just is the worst. That has happened to me My favorite dragon is a phoenix. what is your favorite animal?

here is an image of my drawing of a few phoenixes.

  1. Kia ora, I'm Amelia from Yaldhurst Model School.

I like the way you used different coloured gradients on the black background to really bring out the colours.

The drawing in this reminded me of when we did the dream givers and we had to do the drawing of what they looked like.

To improve, you could add why it is your favorite animal because that would give more information about it.

    What makes you like phoenixes?

Bye! I loved looking at your blog post and reading about phoenixes. I'd love to see more outstanding posts.

  2. Hi Jonathan! My name is Mia and I am from Yaldhurst Model School.

I loved the creative artwork that you have made of Phoenixes, it was very colorful and eye-catching.

I chose the Peryton as mine, although it took me a while to choose between Phoenix, Pegasus and Peryton.

Improvement points would be to add in more information (like Amazing Amelia said). Wait a minute Jonathan, isn't a Phoenix a bird not a dragon?? You might want to fix that as well.

    Great work!

  3. Kia Ora Jonathon,

My name is Jedi and I am a year eight in rimu class ( as you might know). I think this post is super awesome! Because you have written an Introduction and added a picture of the Phoenixes you have drawn. Did you draw these yourself? Because they are super good! Although I did have the same question as Mia. Isn't a Phoenix a mythical bird, not a dragon?

I also agree with Mia an Amelia. To really knock people's socks off you should add more detail. Maybe a diagram would be a great thing to add.

    Great job Jonathon!
